Miradouro da Graca in Alfama

What you’ll do

We’ll get together for a photo walk through the oldest district of Lisbon, Alfama. We will discover small alleys, historical buildings, incredible viewpoints, colourful azulejo tiles, and we hear the Fado music playing in the background.

During our photo walk, I’ll help you with your camera settings and give you some tips and tricks where required. We’ll also discuss some post-production options and look at some questions you may have. This experience is great for beginners in photography, but also for experts as the areas we will visit are great to capture. So if you have an interest in the tiny streets of Alfama and photography, this experience will be well suited for you!

If you have a phone camera, the photography class in Lisbon is still suitable for you and I’ve got plenty of tips for you! If you have a (D)SLR please bring your own camera and lenses. Where possible, I can provide 1 or 2 cameras if they are not in use.

If there’s a date you’d like to attend the photography class in Lisbon, but don’t see it on the calendar, send me a message! Let me know when you’ll be in Lisboa, and I’ll see if I will be available. What clients say

“When I visit cities its important to me that I see things from a new perspective, and Marga helped with that wonderfully! She knows quirky spots to take you and her photography experience is A1! Not to mention I got to meet others on this experience too, and as a solo traveller that was a nice bit of connection I craved. Thank you Marga!”

“This walking tour with Marga was the perfect start to my Lisbon visit. This was my first time in Lisbon and having a local guide to take me around the old district of Alfama was a great way to be introduced to the city. I appreciate Marga’s eye for photography that helped me capture some great shots of the old district. All in all, it was a great photo walk. Marga was wonderful. She was super friendly, gave some helpful tips to take pictures and showed me corners of the old district of Alfama that I would have just ignored if I had visited on my own.”
John
“Although I’m big into photography this is the first time I’ve done a photography experience on Airbnb and definitely won’t be the last. Marga is a great guide, really warm and a pleasure to spend the morning with. Her eye for photography is also brilliant and it was nice to get a new perspective on taking some really cool photos in a beautiful location.”
